GI Bill® Tuition Reimbursement

U.S. military veterans who want to start a career in real estate may request benefits for live  classroom pre-license class fees through the GI Bill®. Only Illinois REALTORS® live instructor-led broker pre-license courses are eligible.

Here’s how it works:

  • You must be an eligible U.S. military veteran who meets the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs’ guidelines for the GI Bill® benefit, including High School diploma, GED or college transcripts and Certificate of Eligibility.
  • Attend a live pre-license class at one of our participating Illinois REALTORS® classroom branch locations.
  • Under the guidelines a qualified veteran pays all course costs upfront to the branch providing the live training. The branch partner sends the request for  veterans benefits form to the Illinois REALTORS® whom then applies to the government for reimbursement. Please note it is up to the Department of Veterans Affairs whether a veteran qualifies for the G.I. Bill® benefit
