Step 1: Complete 75 required hours of Pre-License Coursework
First-time persons seeking a real estate license in Illinois must complete and pass 75 hours of mandatory coursework to sit for the broker licensing exam.
Our Course includes required Illinois Broker Pre-License education of 60-hour Broker Pre-license topics and 15-hour Broker Pre-License Applied Real Estate Principles.
Step 2: Study class materials and other resources as needed
Step 3: Pass State & National Licensing Exam (administered by PSI)
State portion: 40 multiple-choice questions
National portion: 100 multiple-choice questions
Allowed Attempts: four
Exam fee: $58 each attempt
Passing Score Report: passed exam valid for one year
Step 4: Find a sponsoring broker
Before you submit your application for licensure you will have to have sponsorship from a managing broker.
Step 5: Apply to IDFPR for your broker's license
Register: IDFPR's online portal at online-dfpr-micropact.com
Upload: Pre-License transcript(s)-valid for two years
Passing Score Report: passed exam valid for one year
Application fee: $150
Confirmation: Managing Broker confirms sponsorship
Step 6: IDFPR confirms information and issues license

Step 7: Complete the Post License Coursework required for your first license renewal deadline
Course Name: Pre-Licensing 60-hour Topics and 15-hour Interactive Course Number: 513001835 and 513001606Course Description: Course includes enrollment for both 60 hour Broker Pre-License topics course and 15 hours of Real Estate Principles. This course will provide information on real estate concepts, real property, math, brokerage, contracts, property management, appraisal, financing, Real Estate License Act of 2000, use controls for government and private land, fair housing, environmental issues, closing, and the updated TILA/RESPA information.
All day: Meet for twelve days (consecutive) Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 AM to 3:15 PM
Fridays: Meet for ten (consecutive) Fridays from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Saturdays: Meet for ten (ten) consecutive Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Evenings: Meet for (19) evenings on consecutive Tuesdays and Thursdays

Refund Policy:
A full refund is given (less the $50.00 processing fee) if you drop the course before the first class and all materials must be returned in good condition. No refunds will be returned after the class has started.
Retake Policy:
A student may retake the course within (1) year of the completion of the session first attended for a $150.00 fee per retake.
Students will receive a certificate of completion upon passing our course and are then eligible to take the State Exam.
